Max. 15 Teilnehmer_innen, auf Englisch. What is considered beautiful, normal, functional, attractive or desirable? Who is healthy and strong? How do we struggle against these impossible boundaries and fight for a change? All the drawings created in the workshop will (with permission) be published in a zine. In NO FILTER comic workshop we focus in discussing body and beauty standards through drawing comics. What is considered beautiful, normal, functional, attractive or desirable? Who is healthy and strong? How do we struggle against these impossible boundaries and fight for a change? How have our societies gone awry while wrapping us in a predefined impossible boundary of what is considered “normal” and what is not? We begin with a short warm-up drawing followed by a fast-paced, fun collective drawing exercise. In the end the group draws stories of our own. All the drawings created in the workshop will (with permission) be published in a zine. Workshop is suitable for experienced cartoonists and beginners alike.
